The Ann Arbor Concert Band concludes our 43rd concert season in spectacular fashion as we continue the process of selecting our new conductor. This concert was postponed from Sunday, January 16, 2022. Conductor finalist John McLaughlin Williams steps to the podium presenting “Kaleidoscope” featuring “Passacaglia (Homage on B-A-C-H)” by Ron Nelson, Walter Piston’s eclectic “Tunbridge Fair”, the soulful “Wake Nicodemus” by Henry Clay Work with soprano soloist Kira Slovacek, Alexander Glazunov’s exhilarating “Scenes de Ballet” and the stirring “Wake Me Up for the Great Jubilee” by George Frederick McKay.
