The Ann Arbor Concert Band commences its 43rd concert season in grand fashion as we begin the process of selecting our new conductor. Conductor finalist Justin J. Hammis steps to the podium presenting “The American Spirit” featuring “Star Wars: Episode 3 – Revenge of the Sith” by John Williams, Leonard Bernstein’s beloved “Selections from West Side Story”, the dynamic “Armed Forces Salute”, honoring the men and women of our Armed Forces, “Symphony No. 3”, by Vittorio Giannini plus two of John Philip Sousa’s greatest marches “Washington Post” and “The Stars and Stripes Forever”.
