An intimate portrait of the military service of Israeli soldiers who serve as security examiners at the checkpoints surrounding Jerusalem. The soldiers dislike the assignment, which brings them into constant friction with the Palestinian population. For the first time in their lives they are exposed to the ongoing conflict through the checkpoint routine, which dictates a painful reality and fate for both sides.
