In 1972, Aretha Franklin recorded the album Amazing Grace at a chruch in South Los Angeles. The film of that recording has never been released--until now. This documentary presents the live recording of the album, with choir, at the New Bethel Baptist Church in Watts, Los Angeles in January 1972.
